무용전공 여고생의 월경현상 및 월경곤란증에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 무용전공 여고생을 대상으로 월경현상(초경 시작 시기, 월경주기, 월경량, 월경기간), 월경 전 후의 신체적, 정신적 증상에 관한 실태를 조사하여 무용전공별 월경곤란증에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 비교하여 규명하고자 수도권 지역에 위치한 예술 고등학교 무용과에 재학 중인 무용전공자로, 한국무용 88명, 발레 78명, 현대무용 34명을 대상으로 피험자 모두에게 자발적인 동의를 얻어 MDQ(Menstrual Distress Questionnaire;Moos, 1977)기초로 재작성한 19문항 설문지(김효정 등, 2002)중 15문항을 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 11.5 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석기법으로는 연구대상자의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 또한 무용 전공 고등학생들의 전공하는 무용과 무용경력에 따라 월경 증상을 알아보기 위해 χ2(Chi-square)검증과 교차분석, 그리고 빈도분석을 실시하였다.분석한 결과 특정 무용전공이 월경현상의 변화나 월경곤란증의 감소한다고 해석하기는 무리가 따르므로 무용전공별 월경간의 관계를 규명하고 심리적인 측면 뿐 아니라 월경곤란증에 관여하는 호르몬 분비들을 포함한 체계적인 연구가 이루어져야한다고 사료된다.
Abstract
Research on the Menstruation and Menstrual Distress of FemaleHigh School Students who is in Each Field of Dance Major The purpose of this research is to observe high school girls majoring in dance regarding the time period of their first menstruation, menstrual cycle, amount, period, and their physical, mental conditions before and after menstruation, in order to determine the effects of such issues on the menstrual distress experienced in each field of dance majors. The research was conducted to 88 Korean dance majors, 78 ballet majors, and 34 comtemporary dance majors enrolled in dance departments at art high schools in the metropolitan region, with their consent. The subjects answered to 15 questionnaires from re-formulated 19 questionnaires in the MDQ(Menstrual Distress Questionnaire; Moos, 1977) format, and the compiled data was analyzed with the SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 11.5 program. As for the analysis method, I calculated the frequency and percentage in order to determine the general characteristics of the research subjects. Also, in order to examine the menstrual symptoms depending on each field of major and the career of the dance major students, I conducted χ2(Chi-square) tests, cross analysis and frequency analysis. The result shows that specific fields of dance major cannot be considered to have any considerable effect on the changes of menstruation or the degree of menstrual distress. Therefore, I believe that in order to determine the relation between menstruation and each field of dance major, there should be a systematic research not only regarding the mental aspects but also including the hormone secretion that influence the menstrual distress.
