초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성인애착과 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 자아존중감과 대인관계능력의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 대구․경북 지역에 위치한 대학 4 곳의 372명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 측정도구로는 대학생활적응척도(Student Adjustment to College Questionnaire: SACQ), 성인 애착 유형검사인 친밀 관계 경험 척도(Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised: ECR-R), 자아존중감척도(Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale: RSE), 대인관계능력 척도(Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire: ICQ)가 사용되었다. 선행 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 애착, 대학생활적응, 자아존중감과 대인관계능력 간의 가능한 경로와 역할에 대한 가설적인 모형이 제시되었고, 이론적 모형들의 타당성을 통계적으로 검증하였다. 이들의 구조 관계를 검증하기 위해 수집된 자료는 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 검증 결과, 첫째, 애착은 자아존중감과 대인관계능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감과 대인관계능력은 대학생활적응에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 애착은 자아존중감과 대인관계능력을 부분 매개하여 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 그리고 향후 연구 방향을 논의하였다

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among college students's adaptation to college, adult attachment, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. Participants were 372 college students randomly selected from four colleges. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Amos 19.0. The results showed that 1) adult attachment affected self-esteem and interpersonal relationships; 2) self-esteem and interpersonal relationships affected adaptation to college; and 3) adult attachment had an indirect effect on adaptation to college, which was mediated by self-esteem and interpersonal relationships.
