Abstract

「Crab Grave」is a novel about the inner conflict of a character. Man’s desires are represented by food, body and sex motifs. If you look at the surface structure, it’s a storyline of memories and reflections during his proofreading. Her memory lives vividly through images of hearing, smell and touch. Calibration is a device that enables you to objectively examine people. These subplots justify her desire and reveal her past and present consciousness and unconsciousness. After all, it intersects with Main Plot, which completes the inner workings of the problematic character, creating a deep structure. Mainplots are made up of pieces of memory and connect causalally with desire fulfillment and lack. It is a strategic mechanism to artistically shape the writer’s consciousness of love and life. The author uses objects, backgrounds, and illustrations to explore the nature of love. Materials are closely linked to expand symbolism, metaphor and meaning. The character’s characteristics and relationships are largely represented by defense mechanisms, mimic psychology, and subjectivity. And it portrays nature in which life and fear coexist. Character reaches the totality of eroticism because it has experienced terrible pain. Errotism is a narrative strategy that allows one to explore characters and lead to conflict and change. In addition, desire inconsistencies and finiteity lead to death erotism in pleasure. After all, the relationship between the human being is a natural phenomenon that pulls out the will to live from the divided inner being. It also reveals the writer’s sense of living a full life thinking of the natural movement of death. Various factors have aesthetically embodied the tragedy of love, which resulted in death eroticism, implying the psychology and circumstances of the character.
