We find q-analogues of transformation formulas of Whipple and Srivastavaas well as two multiple summation formulas by Srivastava. We considersome special cases of the q-Whipple transformation formulas and give some examplesof balanced and very-well-poised double series, which was defined in therecent book of the author.
