ChatGPT 기반 초등학교 6학년 국어 교과 챗봇 개발: 어휘 학습 지원을 중심으로

학생들의 문해력이 감소함에 따라 어휘 교육의 필요성은 계속해서 강조되고 있다. 생성형 AI 기반 챗봇은 자연스러운 의사소통을 통한 학생 맞춤형 교육이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 또한 다양한 어휘 사용 예시를 생성, 제공할 수 있어 어휘 학습에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 어휘 학습 지원을 위해 교육과정 및 교과서 분석 결과를 토대로 모델을 파인튜닝한 후, 웹 페이지 형식으로 시각화하였다. 챗봇 모델 구현 결과, 본 챗봇은 학습된 데이터를 바탕으로 학습자의 수준에 맞는 답변을 출력하였으며, 데이터 셋에 없는 내용이라도 예시 문장, 사용 상황 등을 다양하게 제시하였다. 또한 학습자와의 이전 대화 내용을 고려한 답변을 출력하며 자연스러운 상호작용을 이어나갔다. 1회, 4회 파인튜닝 후 각 모델의 정확도를 평가한 결과, 파인튜닝이 반복될수록 답변의 정확도는 높아졌다.
Abstract
As students’ literacy decreases, the need for vocabulary education continues to be emphasized. Chatbots based on Generative AI have the advantage of enabling natural communication and customized learning for students. In addition, it can create and provide examples of various vocabulary use, which can be effectively used for vocabulary learning. This study developed a chatbot that supports vocabulary learning for 6th graders in Korean elementary school. This study fine-tuned the model based on the curriculum and textbook analysis results. After that, the chatbot was visualized in the form of a web page. As a result, this chatbot provided appropriate answers to the learner’s level based on the learned data. Even if the contents were not in the dataset, various example sentences and usage situations were presented. It continued natural interactions by outputting answers that considered the previous conversation. After implementing the chatbot model, the accuracy of the answer was evaluated. As a result of evaluation, it was confirmed that the accuracy of the answer increased as fine-tuning was repeated.
