초록

This study aimed to secure reliable soil-plant transfer factor (TF) data in the Korean environment, crucial for biosphere assessments in radioactive waste disposal facility safety evaluations. Field and laboratory-scaleexperiments were conducted on major Korean dietary crops (cabbage, radish, rice) for key radionuclides (Mn, I, Sr,Cs, Re). Statistical analysis revealed that increased soil organic matter generally decreased TF values, and aboveground parts showed higher radionuclide accumulation. Comparison with IAEA data indicated that experimentalTF values largely fell within the established ranges, with calculated relative errors for Cs, Sr, and Tc (Re) beingwithin acceptable limits. These findings affirm the applicability of domestic data to enhance the reliability and reduceuncertainty in safety assessments, contributing to a more robust long-term safety evaluation of disposal facilities.
