이 논문은 21세기 한국 교회 성장을 위해 현재 진행되고 있는 전도 사역들을 점검, 평가해 볼 수 있도록 전도 패러다임을 성서적, 역사적, 실천적 연구로 다루었다. 첫째, 성서적 전도 패러다임 연구에 있어서 현재 사용되고 있는 한글 성경에서 나타나고 있는 전도라는 표현에 담긴 원어적 의미와 함의를 분석하여 오늘날 한국 교회가 성서적인 전도를 실천하고 있는지 비교 대조할 수 있도록 하였다. 둘째, 역사적인 전도 패러다임 연구에 있어서 초대교회에서부터 신성로마제국 시대, 18세기와 19세기, 20세기를 지나면서 전도 패러다임이 어떻게 이해되었고 실천되었는지를 논하였다. 셋째, 실천적 전도 패러다임 연구에 있어서, 전도라는 개념 자체가 실천적인 측면에서 어떤 함의들을 가지고 있는지를 다뤘다. 이 과정에서 회심을 위한 단계와 내적 변화의 단계들을 다루어 오늘날 전도와 회심에 대한 이해를 높이려 하였다. 이 논문의 목적은 전도의 개념을 성서적, 역사적, 실천적으로 이해야하여 전도가 21세기 한국교회 성장 동력이 될 수 있도록 기여하기 위함이다.
Abstract
This study is to analyze the paradigm of evangelism in biblical, historical, and practical aspects in order to evaluate the current practices of evangelism in the Korean Church. First, for biblical analysis, the term, evangelism in the Korean version of the Bible is discussed based on Hebrew and Greek in order for the Korean Church to review her practices of evangelism. Second, for historical analysis, this study explains the understanding of evangelism in relation to each context such as the Early Church, the Holy Roman Church, and from the 18th to the 20th Century Third, the practical part discusses the implications of the term, evangelism in the manner of psychological aspect and sanctificational aspect. The purpose of the study is to contribute better understanding evangelism in biblical, historical, and practical aspects for the Korean Church growth in the 21st century.
