학습유형과 학습전략, 학습시간에 따른전문대학생의 학업성취 경로분석

본 연구는 전문대학생의 학습유형을 균형형과 우세형의 차원에서 파악하고, 이러한 학습유형과 학습전략, 학습시간이 학업성취에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 학습유형과 학습전략이 직접 학업성취에 영향을 주고, 동시에 학습시간을 통해 영향을 주는 경로모형을 가정하였다. 688명을 대상으로 한 연구결과에 의하면, 학습유형은 학업성취에 직접 영향을 주었으며 학습전략은 직접적인 경로 뿐 아니라 학습시간의 매개변인을 통해 간접적으로도 학업성취에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 순차적-통합적 영역에서 균형형의 학습유형을 보이는 전문대학생은 한 쪽 유형에 우세한 학습자에 비해 높은 학업성취를 보여주며, 학습전략이 많은 학생일수록 학업성적이 높을 뿐 아니라 학습에 더 많은 시간을 보냄으로써 간접적으로 높은 학업성취를 보여주었다. 따라서 전문대학생의 학습유형과 학습전략은 학업성취를 설명하는 경로관계가 다르다고 볼 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to verify the path model of college students' learning styles, learning strategies, study time and their academic performance. Six hundred and eighty eight college students participated in two tests of Felder-Solomon's Learning Style Index and the forty-questioned learning strategy test. A student's daily study time and their GPAs were collected as additional variables. The findings showed that the first hypothetical paths, except for the path from learning style to study time, were accepted. The college students' balanced learning style based on the sequential-global sphere directly explained their academic performance. However, learning strategies influenced the GPAs directly and indirectly through their study time.
