Abstract

The aging of our society is proceeds go rapidly . Study of the assistance devices for daily life of elderly has incre ased steadily. Among them, reduction in the walking abili ty in accordance with the reduction in the physical ability to affect community activity. So the elderly are a major cause of loss of confidence, as well as offsetting drop the quality of life. Most elderly people who have less ability of walking are using a stick or four wheel walker in the form of a stroller. However, these device don't satisfies people who become weak their many bodily functions. The purpose of this study is walking assistance active walker design concept proposal that optimize elderly. In this study, we made a preliminary study of walker an d wheelchair through documentary research. And we deci ded reduce the range of walking assistance device design direction. By observing the state of actual use and user interviews we derive usability problems. Introduce the concept of Inclusive Design derive the str ucture and form of usability that can be easily used by anyone who regardless of disability. Based on this stud y, using the human body by utilizing the measurement da ta of the elderly person to design was carried out on the basis of suitable size. The newly proposed active assistive device design in th is study is to develop required equipment in aging societ y and give confidence to seniors. I also look forward to contributing to the activation of the silver industry.
