정서표현과 정서조절을 강화하는 문학치료 프로그램이 저소득층 아동의 또래관계에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 저소득층 아동의 중요한 보호요인인 또래관계를 향상시키는 문학치료 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 개발한 프로그램은 사회적 관계를 맺는 것에 가장 기본이 되고 필수적인 요소인 정서표현과 정서조절을 강화하는 것에 중점을 두고, 문학매체를 이용하여 구성한 것이다. 연구대상은 00 시에 소재하는 방과 후 아카데미에 다니는 저소득층 아동 16명을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단으로 각 각 8명씩 배치하였다. 실험집단에는 본 연구자가 개발한 정서표현· 정서조절을 강화하는 문학치료 프로그램을 주 2회, 60분, 총 15회기에 걸쳐 실시하였고, 통제집단에는 아무런 처치를 하지 않았다. 프로그램의 효과를 측정하기 위해 정서표현 척도, 정서조절 척도, 또래관계 척도를 사용하여 각 각 사전, 사후, 한 달 후 추후 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 문학치료 프로그램은 저소득층 아동의 정서표현, 정서조절, 또래관계를 향상시키는 것에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었고, 그 효과는 추후에도 지속되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve peer relationships of children from low-income families through literature which is effective in strengthening emotional expression and emotion control. Peer relationships are important to the children because good relationships with others can be protectors to their lives. The literature therapy program was designed as follows. Eight children from low-income families were selected from fifth to sixth graders in elementary school. They were in an after-school program in a city, Kyeong-nam province. They participated in the literature therapy program to strengthen their abilities about expressing and controlling their emotions. It was executed twice a week, for 60 minutes per each session, fifteen times in total. They were tested three times: pretest, posttest, and one month later, follow-up test. And Emotional Expressivity Scale, Emotion Control Scale, and Peer Relationships Scale were used in order to check their changes. In brief, this literature therapy program was proved to be effective in enhancing the children's emotional expressions and controlling their emotion. Also, the test results showed that the effects remained after that. Lastly, it turned out that this literature therapy program had an effect on improving peer relationships of children from low-income family and its effect had lasted a month afterward.
