부부관계 유대감, 부부공동양육 및 유아 친사회적 행동 간의 관계

초록

본 연구는 만 3-5세 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 부부관계 유대감이 부부공동양육과 유아 친사회적 행동에 각각 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 부부관계 유대감이 부부공동양육 일부 하위요인에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부부가 배우자와 결혼생활에 대해 긍정적으로 지각할수록 아버지와 어머니의 지지적 공동양육 수준이 높게 나타났고, 반대로 부부가 배우자와 결혼생활에 대해 부정적으로 지각할수록 어머니의 비난적 공동양육 수준이 높게 나타났다. 한편, 부부관계 유대감이 아버지의 비난적 공동양육에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부부가 배우자와 결혼생활에 대해 긍정적으로 지각할수록 유아의 친사회적 행동이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 부부관계를 인터뷰법으로 측정할 수 있는 새로운 도구 및 개념을 도입하였다. 이를 통해 부부관계를 다각적인 측면에서 더욱 풍성하게 탐색하고자 노력하였다. 또한 부부관계 유대감과 부부공동양육 간의 관련성을 파악함으로써 이후 양육관련 프로그램에 대한 이론적 근거가 될 수 있다는 의의를 가진다.

Abstract

This study examined the relationships between marital bond, coparenting and preschool children’s prosocial behavior for parents with 3, 4, or 5-year-old children and their teachers. The main results were as follows: First, paternal and maternal supportive coparenting were influenced by marital bond. That is, higher levels of marital bond were associated with paternal and maternal supportive coaprenting. In the case of undermining coparenting, however, only maternal undermining coparenting was influenced by marital bond. Second, children’s prosocial behavior was influenced by marital bond. In other words, the more positive couples when it comes to their spouses and marriage, the more pro-social their children are. This study examined marital bond to identify marital relationship by using interview method. Also, this study provided the rationale for parenting programs by analyzing the relationship between marital bond and coparenting.
