발달장애대학생의 진로태도와 자기결정기술, 사회성기술 및 대인관계기술 간의 상관관계

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애 대학생의 진로태도와 자기결정기술, 사회성기술 및 대인관계기술 간의 상관관계를 알아봄으로써 발달장애 대학생의 진로교육 개선 방법을 모색하는데 있다. 연구 대상은 N대학교에 재학 중인 발달장애 대학생 23명으로 구성하였다. 실험은 대학교양 영어 수업시간에 직업적응중심의 프로그램을 적용하여 진로태도와 자기결정기술, 사회성기술 및 대인관계기술 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료들은 연구 문제에 따라 기술분석 및 상관분석을 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로태도와 자기결정기술 간에는 상관(r=.903)이 유의하게 나타났고, 둘째, 진로태도와 사회성기술 간에도 상관(r=.602)이 유의하게 나타났다. 셋째, 진로태도와 대인관계기술 간에는 상관(r=.201)이 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자기결정기술과 사회성기술 관계가 진로태도에 미치는 영향에서는 각각 독립적으로 작용하였다. 다섯째, 사회성기술과 대인관계기술 관계가 진로태도에 미치는 영향에서는 변인 간의 상승 또는 감소효과가 존재하며, 본 프로그램에서는 진로태도에 독립적으로 영향을 미치고 있다고 볼 수 없었다. 따라서 본 연구는 발달장애대학생의 진로태도 개선을 위한 효율적인 교육프로그램 개발에서 자기결정기술, 사회성기술을 적극 활용할 것이 요구된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between career attitudes and self-determination skills, social interpersonal skills, sociability skills for college students with developmental disabilities from cultural English class based on internal factors of vocational adaptation. The participants of the current study were 23 college students with developmental disabilities in N university, who consisted of 10 students in non-inclusive environment and 13 students in inclusive environment. It was employed to analyze the correlation and the descriptive analysis through SPSS(VER.12) after the educational activity program. The finding of this study is as follows. First, The correlation (r=.903) between career attitude and self-determination skills was statistically more significant. Second, The correlation (r=.602) between career attitude and sociability skills was also statistically significant. Third, The correlation (r=.201) between career attitude and social interpersonal skills was statistically not significant. The findings further suggest that comprehensive and systematic educational activity for facilitating career attitudes had better focus self- determination skills and sociability skills.
