초록
Objectives: This case study aims to report on the effects of neurofeedback training, guided by Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG), on a pediatric patient diagnosed with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Methods: The patient participated in a total of 30 sessions of neurofeedback training. Assessments related to ADHD, including QEEG, the Comprehensive Attention Test (CAT), the Abbreviated Conners Rating Scale (ACRS), the Korea-ADHD Rating Scale (K-ARS), and the Korea Language-Based Reading Assessment (KOLRA), were conducted both before and after the intervention to evaluate improvements. Results: The findings indicated significant improvements in the patient’s overall performance, encompassing cognitive abilities and interpersonal relationships. Conclusions: Neurofeedback training, guided by a preliminary QEEG assessment for individualized treatment, resulted in notable improvements in ADHD symptoms.
