본 연구의 목적은 부모의 심리적 통제와 청소년의 사회부과 완벽주의, 내면화된 수치심 및 전위공격성 간의 관계를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충청 및 경북 지역 소재 7개 중학교와 고등학교에 재학 중인 학생 229명을 대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 21.0을 활용해 빈도분석, Pearson의 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, PROCESS Macro를 이용한 bootstrapping 방식으로 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 심리적 통제, 내면화된 수치심 및 사회부과 완벽주의는 모두 청소년의 전위공격성과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년의 전위공격성에 미치는 영향에 대해 사회부과 완벽주의는 매개효과가 없는 반면, 내면화된 수치심은 부분 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년의 전위공격성에 미치는 영향에 대해 사회부과 완벽주의와 내면화된 수치심은 이중매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의와 후속 연구에 대한 제언 및 시사점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study examined the relationships among parental psychological control, socially prescribed perfectionism, internalized shame, and displaced aggression in adolescents. A total of 229 students from seven middle and high schools located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Gyeongbuk regions participated in the survey. The collected data were analyzed using Window software version 21.0, including frequency and Pearson correlation analysis. Mediation effects were tested using the bootstrapping method with the PROCESS Macro. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, parental psychological control, internalized shame, and socially prescribed perfectionism were all positively correlated with adolescents’ displaced aggression. Second, although socially prescribed perfectionism did not mediate the relationship between parental psychological control and displaced aggression, internalized shame had a partial mediating effect. Third, a dual mediating effect was identified, in which socially prescribed perfectionism and internalized shame jointly mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and adolescents’ displaced aggression. Based on the above findings, the significance of this study was discussed, along with implications and suggestions for future research.
