목회상담과 사랑: 고전 13장을 중심으로

초록

이 연구는 고린도전서 13장에 근거하여 목회상담과 사랑의 관계를 다루었다. 연구자는 목회상담이야말로 사랑을 드러내고 실현시키는 교회의 중요한사역이며, 사랑이야말로 고린도교회가 가진 문제들에 대한 치유의 힘으로제시된 것과 같이, 오늘날에도 사랑은 치유의 힘일 뿐 아니라 교회를 세워나가는 ‘가장 좋은 길’임을 강조하였다. 연구자는 고린도전서 13장에 대한 본문연구를 기초로 목회상담과 사랑에 대해 다음과 같은 점들을 확인하였다. 첫째, 목회상담은 중간시기를 지내는 성도들과 교회를 위한 필수적인 목회사역이다. 둘째, 목회상담의 목표는 사랑을 통하여 교회를 세워가는 일이며, 이 일을위해서는 목회상담자의 인격과 높은 수준의 윤리가 요구된다. 셋째, 성경적 사랑의 속성은 목회상담의 기본적인 원리를 제공해 줄 수 있으며, 연구자는 이것으로부터 진리, 포용, 신뢰, 소망, 동반의 요소를 도출하였다. 넷째, 사도바울이 제시한 바와 같이 사랑은 중간시기를 살아가는 성도들 개인과 교회를 위한 치유적 능력이 된다. 주님이 나를 아시고, 사랑하고 계시다는 사실이야말로 오늘을 살아가는 모든 신자들과 사역자들이 붙잡아야할기적이다.

Abstract

This study dealt with the relationship of pastoral counseling and love based on the first Corinthians 13. The researcher emphasized that pastoral counseling is the important ministry of the church which reveals and realizes love, and that love is not only the healing power but also ‘the most excellent way’ to build the church, as love is presented as the healing power to solve the problems of the Corinthian church. The researcher confirmed some propositions about pastoral counseling and love based on the study of the text of the first Corinthians 13. First, pastoral counseling is the essential pastoral ministry for the church and the believers who spend the in-between period. Second, the goal of pastoral counseling is to build a church with love, and high level of ethics and the character of pastoral counselors are required for this goal. Third, the characteristics of biblical love can provide basic principles of pastoral counseling, and the researcher identified the five factors in the following: truth, embracement, trust, hope and companionship. Fourth, as presented by Apostle Paul, love is the healing power for the church and the believers who spend the in-between period. The fact that the Lord knows and loves me is the miracle that all Christians and ministers who live today should hold on to.
