Abstract

In this paper, I shall attempt the ways at this 21st century Korean church how to unite Korean churches which had grown rapidly since late 19th century, but has split after 1945. In light of church education particularly,I shall study the union movement so that the directions of revival for Korean church will be suggested. First of all, the split of the early church will be discussed. In the section of the split and history of the early church, the reasons of split of world church and Korean church. On the basis of this reasons of church split, I shall peruse the history of church split, suggest the split justified biblically, and the history of world church and Korean presbyterian church. Based on this, the theme of this paper which is the union movement and union education movement of Korean church will be discussed. In conclusion, the directions of union education movements in Korean church were discussed. To show these directions, I attempt to answer to a question such as “union movement of education among churches theologically different can be possible?” Considering Korean church which has more than 8.5 million church members, national denominational union movement of education is better than that of Korean protestant church. On the basis of this reasoning, national union movement of education is discussed.
