국문초록경제적 성장과 주 5일 근무제 확산으로 골프장 이용객 수가 계속 증가될 전망이다. 따라서 이에 수반되는 골프사고도 증가될 것이다. 경제적인 압축성장과 골프인구의 급성장은 이루어졌지만 현재 온 국민들 사이에는 안전 불감증이 팽배해있는 것이 현실이다. 그러므로 골프장에서 발생되는 사고사례를 연구검토하여 골프사고를 미연에 방지하고 최소화시킬 필요성이 있다. 본론에서 인용된 판례는 미국에서 발생된 판례를 주로 인용하였다.그러므로 본 연구의 목적은 골프코스에서 골프활동으로 인해 발생된 상해의 요인을 조사하고 상해요소들과 관련된 위험요인들을 최소화 하기위한 위험관리를 디자인하는 것이다. 이것은 또한 골프 관중과 골퍼들에게 골프코스에서 잠재적인 사고발생 가능성을 실질적인 사례를 보여줌으로서 자신뿐만 아니라 타인의 신체적, 재산적 가치를 보호하는데 있다.위험요소들을 조사한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 그 요인들로는, 전후 팀간에 불충분한 거리를 유지, 훅 또는 슬라이스, 안전시설이 미비한 호수나 하천, 티 에어리어, 장비의 부적절한 사용, 부주의한 코스 디자인, 관중의 상해, 부주의한 감독관찰, 그리고 날씨와 관련된 번개로 인한 사고를 들 수 있다.
Abstract
Assessing Risks on a Golf Course: Based on Cases Caused in the United States Jeong, Eugsun (Hallym University) The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors of injuries caused by the golf activities and design the risk management to reduce the hazards and risks associated with the injuries' factors on the golf course. It is also to inform spectators and players of the potential injury of participation in golf activities by showing various kinds of cases. In order to prevent or minimize the golf injuries, the following results were drawn. A player should not hit a ball until preceding players are on their way to the next tee or the group ahead is out of range. If the players' shot hooks or slices in completely unanticipated direction and may endanger the person, call "fore" loudly to alert the endangered player. All lakes and ditches should be visibly marked off-limits to prevent golfers from accessing the areas. The area should be posted warning signs. In using an electric cart to drive on the golf course, the player should drive with care and stay on the cart path. The driver should not turn sharply a curve. Golf course design should be reasonable and safe for all invitees. Injuries due to parallel fairways frequently occur on the golf courses. On the golf course players must properly provide supervision to protect themselves. Lightning storms are extremely perilous to golfers on the course. When they meet such storms, the best precaution is to get off the course. if that is impossible, seek shelter away from your golf clubs and isolated big trees.
