The purpose of this study is to reconsider the marriage trend of the royal family through literature and stone carving data. In addition, based on this, it was estimated that the royal family married to Qiongshan princess of county(瓊山縣主) was a vomit marriage. The marriage between Tuyuhun Khan and the royal women of the Tang had existed for generations until the early Tang Dynasty. Furthermore, reaching the generation of Murongxiguang(慕容曦光), the trend of royal marriages for the vomit marriage rather expanded. Considering Tuyuhun and Tang Dynasty's marriage trends in the early period, it is Muronglun(慕容輪) who married the Qiongshan princess of county during the Kaiyuan(開元) period, shown in the 『Chang'an Chronicles(長安志)』.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reconsider the marriage trend of the royal family through literature and stone carving data. In addition, based on this, it was estimated that the royal family married to Qiongshan princess of county(瓊山縣主) was a vomit marriage. The marriage between Tuyuhun Khan and the royal women of the Tang had existed for generations until the early Tang Dynasty. Furthermore, reaching the generation of Murongxiguang(慕容曦光), the trend of royal marriages for the vomit marriage rather expanded. Considering Tuyuhun and Tang Dynasty's marriage trends in the early period, it is Muronglun(慕容輪) who married the Qiongshan princess of county during the Kaiyuan(開元) period, shown in the 『Chang'an Chronicles(長安志)』.
