초록
This study aims to evaluate the reliability of LiDAR-derived turbulence intensity (TI) by comparing it with met mast TI data and quantitatively analyzing their differences. Using wind data from a 116-m-high offshore met mast and a fixed LiDAR installed on its platform, the correlations and deviations between the two datasets were assessed. The compliance of LiDAR TI with DNV guidelines was also investigated. The results showed that the TI deviation ranged from -0.01 to 0.00 m/s, and the relative error ranged from -11.37 % to 3.49 %. Most LiDAR TI values met the DNV criteria for site suitability and energy production assessment. However, stricter criteria for load validation revealed limitations at high wind speeds. Overall, LiDAR TI is a reliable material for energy production assessment and provides supplementary data for site suitability and load validation, highlighting its potential in wind energy applications.
