본 연구의 목적은 통합 교육의 관점에서 중학교 학생들을 위한 기후변화 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 먼저, 기후변화 관련 2009 개정 중학교 교육과정과 교과서 내용을 분석하였다. 기후변화 관련 내용이 포함된 과학, 사회, 기술가정, 도덕 과목을 분석하여, ‘녹색 생활 24시’라는 통합 주제를 추출하였다. 다음으로 통합적 관점에서 ‘녹색 생활 24시’ 주제의 세부 학습 활동을 고안하였다. 교과 간 내용적 통합과 인지, 정의, 행동적 관점에서의 방법적 통합으로 두 관점에서의 통합을 의미한다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램이 기후변화 교육의 측면에서, 교실에서의 실천적 측면에서 갖는 의미와 한계점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop the climate change education program for middle school students in the perspective of integrated education. For the first step of development, we analyzed the contents related to climate change in 2009-revised middle school curriculum and textbooks. We extracted the common contents related to climate change between four subjects, such as science, social studies, ethics and technology home economics. “Green Life 24 hours” was decided as an integrated theme of climate change education program. As the second step of development, the learning activities of “Green Life 24 hours” were developed in the perspectives of integrated education. In our program, the integrated perspectives mean the integrations of two dimensions: the first dimension is the integration between subjects; the second dimension is the integration among cognitive, affective and practical aspects. Finally, the educational implications were discussed in terms of the climate change education and of the educational practice.
