2007 및 2009 개정 교육과정에 제시된 에너지 교육 내용 분석- 중학교 과학과, 사회과, 도덕과, 기술가정과를 중심으로 -

본 연구의 목적은 학교 교육과정에서 에너지와 관련한 내용이 얼마나 통합적으로 조직되어 있는지 살펴보는 것이고, 이를 위하여 2007 개정 중학교 교육과정(3학년), 2009 개정 중학교 교육과정(①, ②)을 분석하였다. 특히 에너지 교육 목적과 교육 내용 요소를 중심으로 과학, 사회, 도덕, 기술․가정 과목에 대해서 에너지 관련 내용이 어떻게 연계되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 에너지 관련 내용은 과학, 사회, 도덕, 기술․가정과에 적절히 분산되어 다루고 있으나, 과목의 특성에 따라 초점이 조금씩 달랐다. 둘째, 에너지 관련 내용의 분산적 배치가 교육과정 내용의 통합적인 연결을 보장하는 것은 아니었다. 셋째, 몇몇 교과에서 기술된 교과서 내용에는 에너지에 대한 오개념이나 혼란을 야기할만한 부분이 포함되어 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 의미 있는 에너지 교육 실현을 위한 교육적 시사점을 교육과정 개발 과정, 현장 교육의 실천 과정, 범교과적 측면에서 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze on how the contents related to energy in school curricula are connected systematically between subjects. We focused on science, social studies, ethics and practical arts of the 2007-revised and the 2009-revised secondary curriculum. The research results are as follows. First, the contents related to energy are contained in the all four subjects, but the focus of the contents in each subject are a little bit different according to their academic perspectives. Second, the contents are not connected systematically between subjects, even though the four subjects cover the contents related to energy. Third, some parts of the contents in ethics have the possibility to cause misconceptions or confusions about energy. Based on these results, educational implications are discussed in terms of the curriculum development, the educational practices and the cross-curricular aspects.
