This study analyzed the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions by Korea Army in 2012 for the GHG effective reduction. The analysis of the GHG revealed that the largest amount of the GHG was emitted by using the electricity and the light oil by Korea Army. In addition, the largest amount of the GHG was emitted by the GOP’s divisions followed by the mechanized divisions, infantry divisions, and coastal divisions. Aviation and Transport units are characterized with high GHG emissions from mobile combustion. The monthly average of GHG emissions showed that the highest GHG emissions were winter and summer seasons. The mindset shift, the facility of construction, and the practical behavior for GHG emissions effective reduction are proposed.
