사회복지교육과정에서 PBL의 적용효과에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 사회복지교육과정에 PBL을 적용하여 효과적인 학습과정을 탐색하고, 그 과정에서 활용 가능한 기법들은 어떤 것이 있으며, PBL을 통해 학습자의 문제해결능력, 자기주도적 학습능력, 팀 협력 능력, 의사소통능력의 향상과 수업만족도에 미치는 효과에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리하여 학생 32명의 PBL 수업 사전-사후 검사결과를 측정하였으며, SPSS를 이용하여 대응표본 T-test로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 6단계를 과정을 거친 PBL 진행과정과 RCA, 성찰저널 등 5가지 기법들을 PBL 수업 시 적용해 볼 수 있었다. 설문조사 결과 PBL 적용 후 학습자의 문제해결능력이 0.28점, 의사소통능력이 0.33점씩 향상되었고, 저학년보다는 고학년에게 더 효과적임을 검증하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지 전공 수업에 효과적으로 PBL을 적용하기 위해서 체계적인 6단계의 PBL 프로세스 구축과 고학년 대상의 소규모 교육과정 진행, 학습자의 확산적 사고를 도와주는 교수자의 촉진질문 사용 등을 제언하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effective learning process by applying PBL to the social welfare curriculum, and to find out what techniques are available in the learning process. Through the PBL, We tried to find the effectiveness on improvement of 5 abilities. For this purpose, pro/pre-post test results of PBL classes were measured in 32 students, and the results were analyzed by SPSS using the corresponding sample T-test. As a result of the study, We explored five techniques those can be used in the six-step PBL process and verified that the problem solving ability and communication ability of learners are improved through PBL. Based on these results, we proposed a way to apply PBL effectively in social welfare studies major.
