초록
In this article, the recovering process of a male client in psychotherapy has been described. The man had suffered from social phobia, which developed from abnormal masculine development due to a hindered feminine development, that is, relationship development. A session was done once a week for one and a half years based on analytical symbol works such as sandplay therapy and dream interpretation. He made a sandpicture in every session except for a few sessions for those times. Also, he brought a few important dreams that help his psychological process be understood. As a result, the client reported that he had insights of how his childhood relationship experience with his parents influenced his relationship and masculine development. Also, over time, his social phobia symptoms decreased. Whereas before he was depressed and his voice would shake, his hands was tremble, and his heart would beat, now he has become more confident, assertive, and emotonally expressive.
