Abstract
This case study aims to explore the role of resilience in the adolescents' positive adaptation. Six adolescents(3 males and 3 females) who were among the upper 25% of both the risk and resilience categories were given 8 standardized open questions. The narrations of these resilient youths were coded by the method of constant comparative analysis. The result was analyzed according to 5 themes: content analysis of adversities, emotional response to the adversities, recognition of the resilience, benefit finding and attitude on the others' adversities.
