사회적 지지가 청소년들의 적응에 영향을 미치는 분야는 다양하게 나타나고 있는데, 이 중 우리나라에서 대부분의 대학생들이 가장 큰 고민으로 꼽고 있으며, 전문가의 도움이나 상담을 원하는 주제가 진로라는 것이 지속적으로 밝혀지고 있다. 그러나 우리나라 진로연구에서 주로 사용되고 있는 사회적지지 척도는 스트레스에 대한 일반적인 사회적 지지를 측정하는 도구로서 진로에 대해 주어지는 사회적 지지를 측정하고 있다고 보기 어려운 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대학생의 진로에 중요한 영향을 미치는 사회적지지 측정 도구의 필요성을 제시하고, 진로에 대한 지지를 측정할 수 있는 부모 진로지지 척도를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 대학생 317명에 대한 설문조사를 토대로 기초 설문지를 구성한 후, 전문가 평정을 거쳐 40문항의 질문지를 대학생 324명에게 실시하였다. 마지막으로 단계를 통해 선정된 20문항 5요인 모형이 적절한지를 확인하기 위하여 부모 진로지지, 진로태도성숙, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로 스트레스, 진로장벽 척도로 구성된 설문지를 427명의 대학생에게 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 우리나라의 대학생들이 부모님에게 받는 진로지지의 5개 요인들-정보적 지지, 대화적 지지, 정서적 지지, 경제적 지지, 경험적 지지-이 확인되었다. 개발된 부모 진로지지 척도가 실제로 대학생들이 경험하는 진로발달이나 진로문제에 대하여 얼마나 효과적인 영향을 미치고 있는지를 확인한 결과, 대학생들이 가장 높게 지각하고 있는 부모 진로지지 요인은 경제적 지지였으며, 가장 낮게 지각하고 있는 부모 진로지지 요인은 정보적 지지였다. 한편 진로관련 변인에 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 부모 진로지지 요인을 확인한 결과 정서적 지지인 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find contents of the career related parent supports in Korean college students and to identify the relationship of career related parent support and career variables. To achieve this purpose, the pilot questionnaires were developed by literature review and open ended survey of 317 college students. and then the experts evaluated the questionnaire. Finally the Career related parent support scale for college students with 20 items, the questionnaire was administered to 427 college students. The researcher did exploratory factor analysis and reviewed Eigen value and scree test and did confirmatory factor analysis. The extracted sub-factors of career related parent support was five factors - information related support, discussion related support, emotion related support, economic related support, modeling related support. The factor structure were well reflected characteristics of career related parent support in college students. 'emotion related support 'factor is the most powerful effects on the career decisional self efficacy, career attitude maturity, career stress, career barriers. In addition, the theoretical implications and practical meanings were discussed.
