대학생의 진로스트레스와 진로태도성숙의 관계: 진로자기효능감의 매개효과와 부모진로지지의 조절효과

본 연구에서는 진로자기효능감을 진로스트레스와 진로태도성숙의 관계에 대한 매개변인으로 가정하고, 부모진로지지를 진로장애와 진로태도성숙의 관계에 대한 조절변인으로 가정하여 이들의 관계를 확인하였다. 연구는 대학생 427명(남학생 253명, 여학생 174명)을 대상으로 하여 진로스트레스 척도, 진로자기효능감 척도, 부모진로지지 척도, 진로태도성숙 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하여 진행되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남학생과 여학생 집단 모두에서 취업압박 스트레스와 외적갈등 스트레스가 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 정보부족 스트레스는 여학생 집단에서만 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 진로자기효능감의 진로스트레스와 진로태도성숙에 대한 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 남학생과 여학생 집단 모두에서 진로자기효능감은 진로모호 스트레스, 정보부족 스트레스, 외적갈등 스트레스와 진로태도성숙의 관계에 대한 매개효과를 가지고 있는 것이 확인되었다. 그러나 취업압박 스트레스와 진로태도성숙과의 관계에서 자기효능감은 남학생 집단에서만 매개효과를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로스트레스와 진로태도성숙에 대한 부모진로지지의 조절효과는 본 연구의 가설을 지지하지 않고 있었다. 남학생 집단과 여학생 집단 모두에서 부모진로지지의 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 진로스트레스의 연구에서 성차를 고려할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구에 대해서 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study examined how career stress, career decision-making self-efficacy, and parent-related career support relate to career attitude maturity. A total of 427 college students(male 253, female 174) participated in the study. The survey included questionnaires of career stress, patent-related career support, career decision-making self-efficacy(CDMSE), and career attitude maturity. The results showed the followings. First, for male and female groups, employment pressure and external conflict stress had significant effects on career attitude maturity, and only for female group, laking information stress had significant effect on career attitude maturity. Second, the partial mediating effects of CDMSE between career stress(ca]reer ambiguity, laking information, external conflict) and career attitude maturity were significant for male and female groups, but employment pressure stress, only for male group. Third, the results did not support the hypothesis that parent-related career support variable would moderate the relationship between career stress and career attitude maturity variables. Lastly, these results included differences by gender. Limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
