대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 무조건적 자기수용과 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과 검증

본 연구에서는 사회부과 완벽주의와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기개념의 내용적 요소인 자기수용과 구조적 요소인 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 194명(남: 76명, 여: 118명)을 대상으로 다차원적 완벽주의, 자기수용, 자기명확성, 단축형 행복척도에 대한 설문을 온라인을 이용하여 실시하였다. 구조방정식을 사용하여 분석한 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회부과 완벽주의는 주관적 안녕감과 유의한 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 사회부과 완벽주의는 자기수용과 통계적으로 유의한 부적 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 사회부과 완벽주의는 자기개념의 자기명확성과 유의한 부적 상관이 있었다. 넷째, 자기수용과 자기명확성은 주관적 안녕감과 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 다섯째, 사회부과 완벽주의와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기수용과 자기명확성의 완전매개 효과가 확인되었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점, 한계점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제안 사항을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the mediation effects of self-acceptance (the content component of self-concept) and self-concept clarity (the structural component of self-concept) on the relationship between socially-prescribed perfectionism and subjective-well being in college students. The questionnaires designed to measure multidimensional perfectionism, self-acceptance, self-concept clarity and subjective well-being were administered to 194 college students (76 men & 118 women) in Seoul through an online survey. The results were as followed. First, socially-prescribed perfectionism showed a significant negative correlation with subjective-well being. Second, socially-prescribed perfectionism had a significant negative correlation with self-acceptance. Third, socially-prescribed perfectionism showed a significant negative correlation with self-concept clarity. Fourth, self-acceptance and self-concept clarity had significant positive correlations with subjective-well being. Fifth, self-acceptance and self-concept clarity fully mediated the relationship between socially-prescribed perfectionism and subjective-well being. Lastly, this study ends with discussions of implications, limitations, and suggestions.
