이 연구는 독서치료 과정의 한계를 보완하여 상담자들이 독서매체를 효과적으로 상담에서 활용할 수 있도록 독서상담 과정 모형을 개발하는 것에 목적이 있다. 모형 기획단계에서는 독서치료에 대한 이해 및 중요 요소들이 무엇인지 탐색하기 위해 요구조사를 실시하였다. 문헌고찰을 통해 독서치료의 기본원리와 개념적 모형을 탐색하고 그 한계를 보완하기 위하여 Patterson과 Welfel(1994)이 제시한 상담과정의 통합적 모형을 바탕으로 독서상담 과정의 기본 틀을 구축하였다. 모형 구성단계에서는 연구모형에 포함되어야 하는 주요 범주와 요소를 찾기 위해 현장에 있는 독서치료 실무자, 심리상담 전문가 집단을 구성하여 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 예비모형과 최종모형은 각각 전문가 집단을 통해 내용 타당도 검증을 거쳐 수정이 이루어졌다. 내용 타당도 측정은 Lawshe가 개발한 내적 타당도 산출 공식을 적용하여 각 항목별로 CVR(Content Validity Ratio)을 산출하였다. 모형 적용과 평가 단계에서는 내담자와 상담전공자를 대상으로 개발된 모형을 적용하고 객관적 평가와 주관적 평가를 실시하여 유용성을 검증하였다. 연구결과 독서상담 과정 모형은 초기개방 단계, 심층탐색 단계, 자기적용 단계, 종결 단계에 해당한다. 각각의 단계에는 도서 적용 과정의 하위 단계가 포함되어 있으며 이를 요약형 모형으로 나타내었다. 또한 상담자 역할, 내담자 역할, 중요행동을 포함하는 내용을 구성하여 독서상담 과정 모형을 제시하였다. 이 연구는 개인상담에서 단계적으로 독서를 적용할 수 있도록 체계적인 틀을 제시하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 제한점과 추수 연구 과제를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to develop a biblio-counseling process model so that counselors can effectively utilize reading media in counseling by supplementing the limitations of the bibliotherapy process. In the stage of planning the model, this study conducted research on demands in order to understand bibliotherapy and to explore what its important elements were. In order to explore the basic principle and a conceptual model of bibliotherapy through the literature study and to supplement its limitations, this study constructed a basic framework of the bibliocounseling process model based on the integrative model of the counseling process proposed by Patterson and Welfel (1994). In the stage of the configuration of the model, this study formed a group of bibliotherapy practitioners and experts in psychological counseling and conducted focus group interviews in order to find the main categories and elements that must be included in the research model. Preliminary model and final model were modified through the content validity verification by the expert group. For the measurement of content validity, Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was calculated by each item, applying the output formula of the internal validity developed by Lawshe. In the stage of the application and evaluation of the model, this study applied the developed model to clients and counseling majors and made an objective evaluation and subjective evaluation to verify its usefulness. As a result of this study, the bibliocounseling process model consisted of an initial opening stage, in-depth navigation stage, self-application stage and wrap-up stage. In each stage, a sub-step of the process of the application of books is included, and this was presented as a summary-type model. In addition, this study proposed an integrative model of the bibliocounseling process, composing contents, including the role of counselors, the role of clients and important actions. This study has a significance that it proposed a systematic framework to be able to apply a stepwise reading in personal counseling. This study has a significance that it proposed a theoretical framework so as to supplement the limitations of bibliotherapy that the process of its application is non-deterministic, so it has insufficient practicality and to approach reading step by step in 1:1 personal counseling, breaking away from the method of the group program. Finally, the limitations of this study and subsequent research projects were suggested.
