외상 후 인지가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향: 침습적 반추와 의도적 반추의 이중매개효과와 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 조절된 매개효과 검증

초록

본 연구는 외상 후 성장에 이르는 필수적인 인지적 변인들을 밝히기 위해, 외상 후 인지와 외상 후 성장 간의 관계에서 침습적 반추와 의도적 반추의 매개효과와 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 대전 등에 거주하는 만 19세 이상의 성인 남녀 248명을 대상으로 외상 경험 질문지, 한국판 외상 후 인지 척도, 한국판 사건관련 반추 척도, 한국판 외상 후 성장 척도, 그리고 한국판 인지적 정서조절전략 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 제안된 조절된 매개 연구 모형의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났으며, 외상 후 인지가 침습적 반추와 의도적 반추를 이중매개로 하여 외상 후 성장에 이르는 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략 중 긍정적 재초점과 긍정적 재평가가 침습적 반추에서 의도적 반추로 가는 경로를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 외상 후 성장의 필수적인 인지적인 변인을 밝히고 이들의 통합적인 경로를 밝힌 데에 의의가 있다. 그 밖에 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the essential cognitive factors in determining the development of posttraumatic growth, by examining the mediation effect of intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination, and the moderated meditation effect of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation on the relations between posttraumatic cognition and posttraumatic growth. For this purpose, 248 adults aged over 19 who lived in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Daejeon were asked to complete surveys which used the Traumatic Experience Schedule, Posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory(PTCI), Korean Event Related Rumination Inventory (K-ERRI), Korean Posttraumatic Growth Inventory(K-PTGI) and Korean Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionaire (K-CERQ). The result revealed that the proposed moderated mediation model showed a good fit for the data. Furthermore, the paths that posttraumatic cognition leads to posttraumatic growth by dual mediating effects of intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination were significant. In addition, positive refocusing and positive reappraisal, which are sub-factors of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation have a moderating effect on the relationship between intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
