(Korean version of the Interpersonal Regulation Questionnaire)를 타당화 하였다.
Abstract
In this study, the Korean version of Interpersonal Regulation Questionnaire was validated to measure the tendency and efficacy of interpersonal emotion regulation across positive and negative affective states. Target rotation factor analysis was conducted on 253 korean undergraduate/graduate students, and fit indices for the four-factor structure of 16 items was confirmed. Next, a different sample of 308 undergraduate/graduate students were tested for confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, and gender differences using the MIMIC model. The results demonstrate that the four-factor structure was found to be appropriate, and the internal consistency of K-IRQ was 0.89-0.90. Convergent and discriminant validity were tested through correlation analysis with the ‘Berkeley Expressivity Questionnaire’, ‘Emotion Regulation Questionnaire’, ‘Brief-COPE’, ‘BFI’, ‘Individualism- Collectivism Scale’, and ‘Subjective Socioeconomic Status Scale(SES)’, while cross validity was tested for checking model stability. Gender differences were found in interpersonal regulation tendency and efficacy for negative emotion, but not for positive emotion. Finally, the significance of the results, limitations, and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
