애착 문제로 내원한 아동의 모래놀이치료 사례연구

본 연구는 자폐장애 동생을 돌보는 부모로부터 충분한 사랑과 관심을 받지 못하고 성장한 초등학교 6학년 여아의 모래놀이치료 사례이다. 내원 당시 내담자가 보이는 주된 문제는 왕따 문제와 사회성 부족 및 자존감의 저하, 사회적 위축, 우울, 무력감 등의 정서 문제 등이었다. 9회기의 인지행동심리치료 과정을 통해 또래와의 갈등 및 학교적응과 관련된 어려움이 완화되자 내담자는 어려서부터 가정에서 경험했던 외로움, 어머니에 대한 분노감 등을 드러내었고, 곧 이를 부정하는 양가적인 모습도 보였다. 이후 내담자는 총 15회기의 모래놀이 치료를 통해 내재된 부정적인 감정들을 표출하고 내적인 결핍을 양육하여 어머니로부터 심리적으로 독립하고 새롭게 출발하고자 하는 변화를 보였다.
Abstract
This study showed a case of sandplay therapy for a 6th grade girl who had a handicapped younger brother. Because of the caring for the autistic brother, the mother can't give enough attention and love to her. The chief complain of the client was peer-neglect, poor social skill, low self-esteem, withdrawal and depression. After the 9 sessions of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy, there was a significant improvement in the social conflict and school adaptation. But the client showed loneliness, anger toward her mother and ambivalent attitudes that lead to denial of every feelings. During 15 sessions of sandplay therapy, the client expressed negative feelings and fed her inner deficiency. Finally she became emotional independent from her mother and intended to change and begin a new life.
