주자의 초기 사상은 불교와 도교에 대한 탐구에서 성현지학(聖賢之學)으로 변화를 겪게 된다. 장무구(張無垢)의 『중용해』에 대한 변론은 주자 사상이 변화되는 중요한 변화 시점이 된다. 이는 주자 초기 사상에서 선대의 유업을 계승 발전시키는 중요한 의미를 가지게 된다. 그러나 아직까지 이에 대해 학계로부터 큰 관심을 받지 못했다. 주자가 연평(延平)에게 배울 때에, 연평은 주자의 『중용』은 큰 영향을 주었고, 주자 사상 중에 불학의 요소를 질정하게 했다. 연평 사후 오래지 않아 주자는 유학 내부의 ‘잡학(雜學)’에 대한 변론을 하게 되고, 더욱이 장무구의 『중용해』에 대해 비판을 하게 된다. 여기에서 주자 초기의 『중용』의 성도(性道), 계구(戒惧), 충서(忠恕), 성(誠), 지행(知行) 등 핵심 개념에 대해 인식하게 되고, 이 때의 불교와 『중용』이해의 수준을 심화시키는데, 불노(佛老)의 학문을 제거하고 『중용』의 장구(章句)를 중시하는 학술적 경향을 보이게 된다. 이 논문은 주자 초기 학술사상 연구를 풍부하게 만들고자 기획됐으며, 주자사상의 변천 및 기본 특징을 파악하는데 있어 중요한 의의를 지닌다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
In his early years , Zhuzi’s thinking has shift from indulging in Buddhism Daoism to having a firm aim on sage and men of virtue. The important symbol is the book of criticizing Zhang Wu-gou’s Doctrine of the Mean Annotation and its important meaning is in it serving as a link between past and future, but the Academic pay little attention to it. Li Yan-ping have an important influence on Zhuzi’s Doctrine of the Mean learning and rectified Zhuzi’s Buddhism thinking When Zhuzi studied under his guidance .After Li Yan-ping pass away, Zhuzi distinguished the “Hybrid Learning “from Confucianism, especially Concentrated on Zhang Wu-gou’s Doctrine of the Mean Annotation, which show Zhuzi’s early years view on the core category of Doctrine of the Mean, such as nature、principle、guard and fear、loyal and forgive、honesty、knowledge and action .it also reflect Zhuzi’s level on Buddhism and Doctrine of the Mean learning and his two academic orientation of warding off Buddhism &Daoism and paying high attention to chapters. so the case study will strengthen and enrich Zhuzi ‘s early years academic ideas research, and also provide a reference to profoundly grasp the development and basic character of Zhuzi’s thinking .
