Abstract
【Abstract】 Cooperation Citizenship and Business Ethics Lee, Dong-won From the viewpoint, there are great differences among many corporations in corporate social responsibility(CSR) and business ethics in every aspect by nations and by industrial classification. In some countries, governments play an important role to have the corporations to accomplish the CSR, in another countries the corporations are willing to play a leading role to materialize the CSR, and in another countries consumer campaigns are prevailing to spur the corporations to attain the CSR and ethics management. But, the corporations are confronted by many difficulties in attaining the two goals simultaneously-to fulfill the CSR and to earn big profit. I would like to suggest the solutions as follows; firstly, we should recognize the generic character of the profit-seeking of the corporations, and secondly, we should not ask the corporations to implement the excessive CSR in environment protection and in donation, because the principal role of the corporations is not to perform the CSR but to produce the good products and to provide the good services. So, corporations should choose the desirable ways to development themselves with sustainability, and the government should help construct the paradigm of the CSR.
