고대한일관계사연구의 회고와 전망

본고는 최근 2002년부터 2017년까지의 약 15년간에 걸쳐 한국학계에 제시된 고대한일관계사에 관한 연구 성과를 정리, 회고해 보고 향후의 전망을 살펴보았다. 우선, 본 학회의 위상을 살펴보기 위해 근년의 인용지수와 함께 학술회의 개최실적, 그리고 학회지 『한일관계사연구』에 게재된 고대한일관계에 관한 연구 성과를 수량적으로 분석해보고, 주제별로 그 특징을 파악함으로써 학회지의 높은 위상(위치)을 확인했다. 다음으로, 고대 한일 관계사 연구의 특징을 파악하기 위해 고대한일관계에 관한 연구 성과를 쟁점 및 테마별, 시대별･시기별, 국가별로 분류하여 검토하였다. 그 결과, 각 방면의 연구 수준의 질적 심화와 함께 연구주제의 다양화 양상을 확인했고, 학회차원의 분야별 연구 성과 정리의 필요성이 있음을 실감했다.
Abstract
This paper reviewed the trends of researches on the history of ancient korea-japan relations from 2002 to 2017, and prospected future researches. The results and characteristics are summarized as follows. First, We analyzed the results of research on the ancient history of Korea-Japan relations published in “The Korea-Japan Historical Review”, and confirmed the high status of the journal by analyzing the characteristics of them by topic. Next, In order to grasp the characteristics of ancient Korea-Japan relations research, the research results were classified by issues and themes, periods, and countries. As a result, we confirmed the qualitative improvement of the research level in each area and the aspect of the diversification of research subjects. Finally, I made several suggestions for the future development of the society of Korea-Japan Relations History.
