『芝峯傳』연구 - 17세기 애정전기소설과의 관련을 중심으로 -

Abstract

The 『Jibongjeon(芝峯傳)』 is a Korean classic novel written by chiness. This is combined a tale of a love with a tale of a satire. The tale of a love is a sad love story which is Sadaebu man, Boksang-Kim fall in love a court lady. It proved a mode of typical Aiqing-chuanqi (愛情傳奇) that thrived in 17th century. The tale of a satire played a Sadaebu man Jibong who is abandoned principles by a kisaeng Baekoak. Up to recently the scholars of Korean classic novel who have been studied 『Jibongjeon』 are focused on the category of a satirical novel. The reason is that 『Jibongjeon』 is undoubtedly the title, and the narrative quantity of the tale of a satire account 80percent to total narrative quantity. However it has limitation that 『Jibongjeon』 is only studied under the category of a satirical novel. In order to get right understanding of work that have mode of combination appearance as 『Jibongjeon』, the scholars of Korean classic novel have versatility, and then need to study a work in many side. In this paper, the present writer analized 『Jibongjeon』with Aiqing-chuanqi that thrived in 17th century. The result, 『Jibongjeon』is special feature which no one has ever catched on it. The tale of a love is similar to 『Unyoungjeon(雲英傳)』 and 『Young- youngjeon(英英傳)』. Further minutely speaking, those of three stories have some common features. First, venture on forbidden affection. Secondly, prudence and enthusiastic love. Third, have a brief meeting and a long farewell. The satire of 『Jibongjeon』 have a different aspects against 『Jeong -hangjeon(丁香傳)』ㆍ『Chongoakjeon(鍾玉傳)』ㆍ『Ohuyoolanjeon(烏有蘭傳)』. In the three satirical novel, a kisaeng exposed enjoyment of Sadaebu who assume a virtuous air. As a result, it make humorous or cynical laugh. but the 『Jibongjeon』 has been enfeebled. Moreover, a kisaeng, Baekoak who has independent and improveed character such as a heroine of Aiqing-chuanqi-Oakyoung of 『Choicheok -jeon(崔陟傳)』, Oakdan of 『wangkyungroongjeon(王慶龍傳)』. Also, she have a good looked gentlemanly character of Jibong-lee and Soon-seonwoo. The lastly, the literary style of 『Jibongjeon』 which commanded a large chungo(典故), and formed splendid couplet, in other words, bounloumoon(騈儷文), and inserted poetry. That is why the literary of Jibongjeon followed Aiqing-chuanqi.
