충효동 분청사기의 문화브랜드화를 위한 발전방안 연구

Abstract

The artists of the progenitor expresses a formative factor and a sense of beauty, through diverse methods such as inlaying, stamping, graffito, engraving designs on Buncheongware and brush painted white ship on Buncheongware, notably, colors. Yet, we are all seriously concerned that in the course of Buncheongware development, but an undesirable tradition has been established. To improve the quality and shape up the Buncheongware as a representative cultural products of Korea, new models and designs should be made that are suitable for the market in Korea. In addition, to raise the Buncheongware brand awareness in the cultural product market abroad, we need to produce a world wide range of visual effects and an advanced design concept through originality of our tradition. For this, it is necessary to share experiences and to cooperate in our common endeavors, such as, enthusiastic broad participation and support from the public, government, universities and private institutes. The technique and shape of Buncheongware shows the unique style of ceramic in Korea. This study aims at promoting a positive image of the local area through the infrastructure of original culture and raising Buncheongware for high-value added industry including the development of it as cultural products.
