경기도 포천시 길명리 가마터 출토 흑유자기와 백자에 대한 특성분석

본 연구는 19세기로 알려진 경기도 포천 길명리 가마터에서 선정한 흑유자기와 백자편을 중심으로 과학 적 분석을 활용한 특성 자료를 제시해 보고자 한다. 과학적 분석은 미세구조 관찰과 색도와 비중 및 흡수율, 기공률 등을 포함한 물리적 특성, 태토와 유약의 조성에 대한 화학적 특성으로 구분하여 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 태토의 미세 구조는 자화 정도에 따라 태토 표면의 입자 및 기공 등에서 차이를 보이며 유약은 백자보다 흑유자기가 유리질화가 잘 된 양상으로 관찰된다. 색도와 비중 및 흡수율은 자기의 종류보다 각 도편의 자화 정도에 따른 미세구조에 따라 차이 를 보인다. 화학적 조성 분석에서 태토는 백자보다 흑유자기가 Fe2O3와 TiO2가 높은 편이고 유약은 백자보다 흑유자 기가 SiO2, Al2O3가 낮고 Fe2O3, TiO2가 높게 함유하고 있는 특징이 있다. 특히, 흑유자기는 CaO와 재의 사용 여부 를 말해주는 P2O5 성분이 높다.
Abstract
This study is investigated the characteristics and the comparison on blackware and whiteware at Gilmyeong-ri kilns, located Poncheon-si, Geonggi province at AD 19c using scientific analysis. It is measured by scientific analysis classified as microstructure observation, physical methods which involved chromaticity, specific gravity, absorption ratio and porosity, and chemical analysis of components of body and glaze. As a result, a particle and a pore of body surface appeared differently by the degree of vitrification. In glaze, Blackware have better on good vitrification than whiteware in the microstructure observation. The physical characteristics of chromaticity, specific gravity, absorption ratio and porosity differed according to degree of vitrification rather than porcelain types. In composition, body of blackware have higher ratio of Fe2O3 and TiO2 than of whiteware. Also glaze of blackware have higher ratio of Fe2O3 and TiO2, and lower ratio of SiO2 and Al2O3 than whiteware. Especially, blackware have higher ratio in the composition of CaO and P2O5 by which ash is used or not.
