Based on the models of historically warranted Buddha image in the style of Asoka statue from Sachon in China, the characteristics and style of the buddha image in the style of Asoka statue are categorized for further studies. Third, The Buddha image in the style of Asoka statue is seemed to be as an origin of Gandhāra Buddha statues, especially Jaulian, Mohra Moradu, Dharmarajika in Taxila and Nimogram in Swat. Fourth, through discussion on the two Man-bul-sa-ji Buddha images of Sachon in China, and one seoanro Buddha image, whose historical background and characteristics are quite reliable, the characteristic of standards of Buddha image in the style of asoka statue is examined. With this analysis, I am able to conclude an assumption that the Buddha image in the style of Asoka statue is introduced through northern route of Gandhāra-Silkroad, but not through southern route of India. Fifth, I examine on the issue of adopting the Buddha image in the style of Asoka statue in Korea, which has brought many attention on similarities of two different styles of Asoka and Korea.
