탈북여성노인의 생애 기억에 담긴 감정정화 경험에 관한 생애사 연구 -민요춤 체험을 통한 접근-

본 연구는 탈북여성노인들이 남한생활 정착 과정 중 겪은 ‘개인 체험’과 ‘치유적 소통과정’에서 발생되는 다양한 의미의 구조들을 민요춤 체험을 통해 접근해보는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법으로는 질적 연구방법 중 생애사를 중심으로 전개되었다. 자료 수집 방법은 심층면담, 참여관찰, 포토보이스, 문헌 연구를 통하여 이루어졌다. 자료수집 기간은 2018년 4월부터 7월까지 약 4개월간 이루어졌다. 자료 분석은 만델바움(Mandelbaum, 1973)의 생애사 분석방법을 적용했고, 그 결과 상위범주 3개와 하위범주 11개의 의미들로 범주화 시킬 수 있었다. 첫째, 탈북여성노인들의 북한에서의 삶, 하위범주 1)고난의 행군시대 이전 삶 2)고난의 행군시대 이후 삶 3)외로움과 배고픔의 나날로 의미 구조를 분석해 볼 수 있었다. 둘째, 생존을 위한 중국으로의 탈북, 하위범주 1)아픔으로 남은 결혼생활 남편과 이별 2)기구한 삶 3)불안한 중국생활 4)자유의 나라 남한으로 들어서기로 범주화 될 수 있었다. 셋째, 남한생활의 적응, 하위범주 1)지친 마음을 달래는 민요춤 2)문화적 차이 극복하기 3)춤이 주는 활력소 4)민요춤을 통해 함께 느끼기로 나타났다. 이러한 견지에서 볼 때 민요 춤의 경우, 탈북민이 남한에 정착하는데 스트레스 해소와 감정회복에 도움을 줄 수 있었으며 또한 그들이 문화정착 하는데 좀 더 심리적 안정감과 억압된 감정을 해소하는데 도움이 되었음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The main purpose of the study is to approach various semantic structures generated during the "personal experience" and "therapeutic communica tion process" experienced by elderly North Korean defectors during the process of settling their lives in South Korea through folk dance experiences. The method of research was centered on life history among qualitative research methods. The data collection method was conducted through in-depth interview, participation observation, photo-voice, and literature research. The data collection period took place for about four months from April to July 2018. The data analysis was applied to the life history analysis method of Mandelbaum(1973), which could be categorized into the meanings of the top three categories and the bottom three areas nine. First, it was possible to analyze the meaning structure of elderly North Korean defectors in the upper category, life in the North, and life after the march of the lower category 1. Second, North Korean defectors to China for the survival of the upper category, and lower category 1) could be categorized as unstable Chinese life. Third, it was found that the upper category of life in South Korea was adjusted, and the lower category 1) felt together through folk dance. From this point of view, the folk song dance was able to help North Korean defectors relieve stress and recover their emotions in settling down in the South, and helped them relieve more psychological stability and suppressed feelings in settling down their culture.
