이 연구는 ‘다문화’ 결혼이주 여성에 관한 전시주제 선정과 표현 및 결과에 대한 교육적 탐구다. 전시 기획 시 어떤 목적으로 어떤 문제를 어떻게 다루고 있는지를 탐색하였다. 사회적 의제를 중심으로 ‘실천의 수월성’을 보고자 하였다. 전시가 사회적 의제를 어떻게 다루며 해석하는 지에 초점을 두었다. 연구방법은 면담과 참여관찰을 통한 질적 사례연구다. 분석과 해석은 교육비평의 관점으로 하였다. 연구참여자는 전시개발에 참여한 두 명으로 한정하였다. 전시개발과정에 대한 분석은 박물관교육의 기준과 원칙 및 사회적 의제를 중심으로 하였다. 연구결과, 전시 및 교육개발과정에서 전시개발자의 문제의식에 따라 전시결과가 달라진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 전시참여자를 통한 한국 사회의 공동체적 과제를 발견할 수 있었다. 전시의 의의는 사회적 약자인 전시참여자의 발언을 통해 반성적 사고의 기회를 제공한 것이다. 이 연구의 의의는 이해 당사자인 객원 큐레이터가 참여한 전시개발과정을 교육의 관점으로 평가했다는 데 있다.
Abstract
This study is an educational exploration of the topic selection, expression and result of exhibition on the ‘multicultural’ marriage immigrant women. It searches how people deal a certain subject with a certain purpose when it comes with an exhibition plan. This study aimed to achieve ‘excellence in practice’ based on social agenda, also focused on how the exhibition interprets and handles the social agenda. The qualitative case study with interview and participatory observation is used for primary research method and analyze and examine with the view of education criticism. The research members have limited to two people who participated on the exhibition plan. The analysis during the exhibition development process is totally based on the standard and principle of museum education and social agenda. According to the research result, the study shows that each exhibition’s results are different based on exhibition itself as well as awareness of subject during the exhibition development process, also it is able to find communal task among Korean society through participants of exhibition. The meaning of exhibition is to give a chance to people for reflective thinking by contact with comment of the participants that mostly are socially disadvantaged. Eventually, the importance of the study is to evaluate the exhibition develop process with guest curators that are stakeholders as educational perspective.
